Preschool Helper

Today it was Jay's special day at school.  He gets to help the teacher and so do I.   It was a special day because it was also field trip day to the fire hall.  I have asked Jay many times what he does at preschool and all I have ever heard is play trains and cars, so I was really interested in what happens and it was not a normal day.  Maybe next time I will get to see what he really does.

It is hard to get pictures at preschool because you are not allowed to take pictures of the other kids so this is what I was able to get.  It was a fun day. 

Weekend Away

About 2 years ago there was a trade show in Didsbury and Doug bought a weekend at a resort in Montana.  We were going to go with some friends of ours and timing never worked out.  So this past weekend we went.  It was a good deal,  we ended up upgrading our room because there are now 7 of us instead of 4 but the stuff that they gave us was better that what we had expected.  The weekend included a round of golf for the guys and the girls got a massage.  It was even better because we also got a $50 gift card to the restaurant and then a $50 gift card to a mall.   So there were 4 adults and 8 kids and no fights, the kids got along great. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

TOBY MAC Concert

Last night Toby Mac came to Calgary and being a long time DC Talk fan, I had told Taylor if Toby Mac ever came to where we were we would go.  So we got our tickets in the spring and then had to wait.  I took the girls to the concert.  (I am not looking forward to the next couple of days because they are tired as we did not get home til just after 10:30pm).  We had a blast.  I did learn a few things.  We are better off getting an isle seat and further back then being stuck in the middle because Taylor can't stay still and Keisha was with her for most of the night.

This is Elyssa sleeping, yes she is sleeping.  Last time we went to the Newsboys she slept through most of the concert this time she made it through most of it

Family Pictures

Here are some of the pictures that Merry took of us last weekend.  She took lots so I won't be able to post them all and then I have them in watermark (not sure what that is), black and white and then colour.

 Merry said to the kids that she was going to count 1,2,3 and then the kids were all going to slide down at the same time and this was what we got.  Taylor got down and then held Shaun's hand and Doug had to hold Jay's hand.
