What a Weekend

It started out on Friday and we were organizing where we were going to put the truck and the old car. We got the truck out and running (both vehicles were parked prior to all the snow coming) and then we towed the car out so that the local wrecker could come and get it. It has been a favourite 'toy' to play on in the back yard. Climbing up the front end and sliding down the back of it.  Here Keisha is driving it, she is not going to get very far seeing as it wouldn't start.

Friday is also the day that we got the keys to the new house. I know I will try to add a picture tomorrow.

Saturday was Daddy and Son Day.  We all met another family for breakfast and then the boys were off to the Car Show. Shaun loves cars. He will walk around vehicles for hours. He knows all the ins and out of my van and the truck when I was driving. He will then ask me questions about the vehicles and I usually don't know the answers. I found out that the car show was coming and booked it on the calendar.

Today (Sunday) after church we grabbed some lunch and then had Duncan and another guy come over and move some stuff over to the new house. Doug went into Calgary and picked up a washer and dryer.  It was a beautiful day out today and the snow was melting. That means mud. After asking the kids to stay out of the mud because we were moving stuff and not wanting to deal with extra baths and extra laundry. Unfortunately I had to do 2 extra loads of laundry today and the boys both needed a bath. Jay apparently fell into the mud and I think that I believe it.

Playdough and Snow

Keisha made playdough at school one day last week and came home and the boys got into and a cup of water. Needless to say it got ruined. So I said that we would make more.  We have had playdough out every day since. Excuse the mess as I am trying to get packing done.
Here is Taylor trying to teach Jay the finer art of playdough.
So much for the 2 of them working together.

Yesterday it was really nice here and the kids spent a lot of time outside. After school all the kids got dressed up and spent a lot of time outside. There is a pile of snow at the end of the driveway of the house that we will be moving into and the all the kids on the street were playing on it.
I will try to get some outside shots of the new place on here shortly and then will take picture inside once we get set up. We will be there sometime before the end of the month. Our plan is to get set up prior to moving in.

Just a Funny Story

Tonight Doug went into the bathroom to shave. Shaun and Jay went into the bathroom too. Doug put the shaving cream on and Shaun knocked Doug's deodorant on the floor. Shaun then asked to smell it. Doug opened it and Shaun grabbed it and rubbed it all over his face to match Doug's shaving creamed face. Jay then asked to smell it and did the same thing. We have 2 smelly faced boys
