Some Pictures I missed

Playing outside on the trampoline

 Elyssa starting her flip

 Boys playing in the dirt

One night I was cleaning up from dinner and the kids were playing house.  Elyssa was the teenager and Keisha and Shaun were the babies.  Guess I should pack the left over diapers from Jay up now

Elyssa class field trip was to Safety City.  Her teacher asks that parents go, so I went.  They have a little town set up and the kids have to practice crossing the street properly and get stamps while the other half drives on little quads.  Here she is getting stamps.

They even have a railway track to cross with working lights. This train is just for decoration
Elyssa on the quad.  She did mention today that she was a terrible driver and that she was.  She ran a stop sign or 2 (that I saw),  ran a stop light, drove the wrong way down a one way street and many times on the wrong side of the road.  I am thankful that she has a few years before getting behind the wheel of a car and I might just make sure that it is Doug that takes her out for the first time in the middle of a field so she does not hit anything

We then went to a park for lunch and Elyssa loved all the monkey bars at this park.  Then her teacher treated all the kids to DQ after and we had to practice crossing the street.

Awards Ceremony

Today is the last day of school.  The school just does awards in the morning and then we are free to go.  Both Taylor and Elyssa got their Scripture Mastery trophies.

Taylor is in the pink striped shirt with a bag over her shoulder second from the end

Jay wondering what he was doing having to sit still and quiet for 1.5 hours

 Elyssa and her class

Taylor's class.

Each child is given a character award. Elyssa got attentiveness and I will have to talk to Taylor to find out what her is when she gets home.

We celebrated the end of school with DQ and a water fight.  I think that it was pretty fair fight.  We just got sod so I am the only one allowed on the grass so I got the hose and the kids had to bring water from inside the house out to try and get me. I did have to stop it when the kids were filling up new garbage bags with water and dropping them on the grass to try and get me.  When I went in the house we had a bit of a flood and had to use many towels to dry it up.

Keisha's Graduation

It was a good ceremony. The kids sang a few songs and signed some as well. The boys played a song on the bells and then the girls did. Keisha got to be 2 bells.  Here she is after her ceremony.   I am not sure why I can't make the pictures bigger and not have them blurry.

What a Boy!

While eating lunch today, Jay put some chicken in his mouth and was chewing.  He then started to talk and I told him that he had to not talk with his mouthful.  So he spit his chicken into his hand and then told his story and put his chicken back into his mouth.  Guess that I needed to be a little more clear on what I was wanting him to do.

On a side note: Yesterday was Keisha's  kindergarten graduation!  She still has to go to school tomorrow because her teacher's daughters are graduating today from university, but it will be her last day.   We did take Auntie Merry to graduation so we do have pictures I just have to figure out how to find them on the computer and post them here.
