The silver bullet from years ago.

 Elyssa needed help each time she went down the hill so I spent a bunch of time like this

 Elyssa and Uncle Chad.

A Little visit from Mom

Mom came out for Christmas this year.  We had a great time with her.  The first thing that we did was take her to the ranch and show her all our new friends.  We had to take her into the pen with the bull to see the bunnies, I am not sure that she was all that happy with us but oh well.  This is Christmas morning

It was really cold for the first half of the week that mom was here so we did a little hibernation and some puzzles.

One day we went to the ranch to once again put mom in the pen with the bull.  We had to catch and halter Taylor's 4H steer so that she can show it in the spring.

The only thing that she caught was a Jayden. Oops that was not quite right.

We said goodbye to mom and we thought that we should take a picture for Auntie Dana

Hey look how close we are and Grandma has on heels.  Getting pretty close.

One day we went down to the ranch to feed the goats and we came out of the one field and into another and there were all the cows in a small pen, so we started moving some fences to catch them.  We tried to get the others out and then gave up and Doug went and got a lasso and caught DJ Moo.  He was not too sure of the  rope in the end.

Taylor with DJ Moo.   Now we just have to keep on catching him until he is used to being on the halter.

We had a pretty sick December as well so we are hoping that we are through with it all now.

We then had the church production.  This year both Taylor and Elyssa both had speaking parts.

 The preschool kids came up and sang 2 songs that were part of the production

 There was an action that Doug said that I should try and get a picture of Jayden doing but I was not quick enough

 Shaun made it through the whole production this year, except he had to take a bathroom break, but no behavior issues

 Taylor had come up with some actions for one of the songs and she did them while the rest of the kids sang.
