This is Shaun on our special date at the start of our new journey. And how do you start a new journey? You go for chili and salads, because that is all we can eat. After talking with a few different people, including Shaun's teacher, Doug and I decided that we would start homeschooling Shaun. There are many different reasons but the main ones are that he is not able to sit still and him not being able to go 3 days a week to school let alone the 5 for grade 1. So this day Jayden was on a field trip to the Children's Festival with his class, which he really only told us that he got to go on a big bus with comfy seats for a long trip, and of course the girls were at school. Shaun and I needed to pick out his language/reading/spelling program. In April I had gone to the homeschool conference and picked out a few things that we were going to do but language I was stumped on. So we were off to Canadian Home Education Resources in Calgary. What a neat store. We were there for 2.5 hours and the only reason we left is because we were hungry. We have now decided on what we are going to do and I have spent time this week doing all the ordering. I am really excited about this new journey and I am excited to see where it will lead us in the future.
