It has been a while

Since the last post we have had a lot happen.  We had strep throat and that laid us up for a bit. Jay's birthday was really low key this year. We had a little party planned with Doug's family but it got canceled because I was laying on the couch with strep.  We did have a cake. I have some pictures on the camera but they are not on the card they are on the camera so I will have to see if I have some way to do that later on.


Then we moved. Not far just 4 doors down from where we were but everything still had to be boxed and moved. This is a picture of the new house.

We got some warm weather and the bikes came out.

I took Keisha to the eye doctor and it turns out she is supposed to wear glasses all the time (we had to order new glasses too because her eyes have changed) and then she also has a lazy eye and we are supposed to patch it for 3 hours a day. Here is day 1 it did not go well at all. She was not happy about it and cheated a lot. She is getter better about it.

One day I looked out the window and I saw some rabbit prints. Then I opened the kids blinds and there he was. I am not sure he moved all day but he was our pet til he left.

Today the little girl 2 doors down from us was out on the street learning how to ride a 2 wheeler. She picked it up really quickly. Keisha came home from school and was very impressed and she was determined to ride one too. At one point she borrowed this girls bike to see how come hers was not working. They were switching bikes around. It was really funny. Shaun was also going for it too. Sure enough both of them learned how to read little bikes today and then Doug came home and had to take training wheels off bikes and put them on and raise and lower seats.
