Weekend Away

So the motor home that has been sitting in our driveway is an Airstream.  Doug's boss has been the president of the local Airstream club.  They do rallies and we got invited to go to one in Picture Butte.  I am sure that you all know where it is.  It is about 30 minutes away from Lethbridge.  I took lots of pictures and I will do this post in a few entries because I just uploaded some pictures, which takes time, and the computer stopped working so I am now back to square 1.  We got to Picture Butte after dark and I started getting kids into pj's while Doug was talking to a few people.  It turned out that breakfast was provided.  I knew that Saturday dinner was catered and Sunday dinner was a BYO meat and salad or dessert depending on your airstream member number.   We were at a prairie and tractor museum.  Saturday after our breakfast we went to climb on tractors and in a pile of hay.

Doug with the kids. DO you know what this is the back of?
This is the front.   We had to guess, I will tell you it is from 1926.  It is a snow plow for the rail lines
This is the inside of the snow plow
 Pushing a lawn mower

Merry go round.  This was very popular with all the kids

Taylor and Shaun climbing on some tractors
Jay would only go on this tractor in this area, he was really afraid of spider webs and when you have a bunch of old tractors there are a few of them

This is only part of the museum area.  There were lots of shiny tin cans there.

Hmmmmmmm I wonder what I can find here, are there any buttons to push

Jay trying to start the tractor
Doug showing the boys how it would be done
 Look Grandma J a smile
Sister race, Elyssa and Keisha I wonder who will win the race.

This will be it for this post, will post another shortly
