Just wants to be like his dad...

The height test

For a couple years we have been wondering when Taylor would pass Auntie Dana.  It has been 2 years since they have seen each other and when we saw Dana for the first time we bought Taylor the highest heels for her to wear and they were about eye to eye.  Auntie Dana was quite surprised but they we had to fess up.  We are now wondering when Taylor will pass her.

Last from Ontario

Uncle Steve playing with 200 blocks and a bunch of kids (gotta love being able to give your neice a present with lots of pieces, and mom even had to mail some)
This is the last picture from being in Ontario.  Most of us ended up sick so we ended up trying to fit people in at the end and we didn't always have the camera with us. We had a good drive back.

At Grandma's House

Bowling

Grandpa and Annabelle.  We met her for the first time on this trip.  She was not feeling very well.

This had to go on record that Grandpa was really loosing bad.

The Cox tradition...

I have no clue how this started but it was sometime after Doug and I got married.  We started bowling at Christmas.

Apparently you are supposed to stretch before bowling.  I never knew this before.  Steve and Elliana stretching.

Computer is acting odd again... will be back in a bit

Grandma's House

Grandma does not have a dishwasher so each kid took turns on dish duty.  This is Elyssa and Uncle Steve doing dishes

Gingerbread House Part 2

We may have spilled a few sprinkles
 Look at that concentration

 The candy house

No gaurantee that there was no licking of fingers while kids were working on this
One good reason to have a dog, very little clean up

Back to Ontario

Then it became serious competition.  Mom has always gotten a gingerbread house for us to decorate.  After Taylor was born, Steven, Dana and Taylor did a house.  Then after Elyssa was big enough to help it became more of a competition.  Mom would buy extra candy and seperate Taylor and Elyssa and then put them with an aunt and uncle each.   This became very serious.  Food dye came out and many other pantry items all to claim the title of the best house.  This year was no different except Dana was not around so Doug and I had to step in.  Teams were Doug, Taylor, Elyssa and Jay against Steve, myself, Keisha and Shaun.  Doug's team went into this thing with a real plan we went in for fun.  We had every possible candy on ours so we think that we won.  Doug's team thinks that theirs looked nicer so they think they won.

Even Lucy (mom's dog) got into it.  She has coloured fur.  Guess when sprinkles get wet they leave a mark

My computer is now acting silly, guess that means it is time to stop.  Will try to post pictures of final houses tomorrow

Church Production

Taylor got  a speaking part again this year and she did a great job.
This was after the early morning rehersal.  Below Taylor's hair in rags to get it curly

Let's Go Back to the Beginning of December

This is what happens when you have to loan your SD Card to your sister-in-law to take pictures they become out of order.  So we are going to the Christmas concert at the school and church
The School.  Kindergarten did their thing, and then grade 1 and then grade 2 and 3 and then the grade 4-6.
Keisha and some of the girls in her class

 Shaun playing the triangle
Shaun playing the bells
Elyssa singing.  She is in the front row. Second from the left.  Below Taylor is second from the left but in the back row
I am going to end this post so that I don't loose anything and then I will go onto the church pictures
